ABOUT GUSTAVO COLMENARES

My passion for sound dates back to my childhood when I was curious about record players, cassettes and sound equipment; this curiosity turned into a love for music, especially Rock which led me to learn to play the guitar, my main instrument.
After studying Music with an emphasis on Sound Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, I have worked in editing, design and sound creation for both linear and interactive audiovisual media for various national and international projects.
My skills include using tools such as Protools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pure Data, Wwise, among others; the handling of plugins and hardware to make sound design and synthesis; recording and editing of Foley to add sound to a scene; recording and editing of ADR; composition of original music for advertising, TV, radio and film.
